Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar organized “Somnath Swabhiman Parv” in collaboration with Department of Art and Culture Government of Arunachal Pradesh on 29^th March 2026. The program began with lighting of Ceremonial Lamp with Vedic Chanting joined by collective chanting of the Dwadash Jyotirlinga Stotram, creating a celestial spiritual ambiance. Programme featured; Guided Meditation, Classical dance performance, and a very insightful discourse by Dr. Narendranath S., Director, North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology, Itanagar. A documentary on the Somnath Temple demolition and a captivating Shiva Tandava dance performance were key highlights of the event. The function concluded with High Tea for all attendees. 

The Ramakrishna Mission Hospital School of Nursing, Itanagar, organised 39th Capping Ceremony for the First-Year GNM students; on Saturday, April 4, 2026. The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the professional journey of the nursing students, symbolizing their commitment to compassionate and ethical healthcare service. The programme was graced by Sri Biyuram WagheJi, Hon’ble Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Water Resources, as the Chief Guest; Swami DayamurtyanandaJi Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama, Haridwar, as the Guest of Honour; and Smt. Techi MemaJi, Corporator, Ward No. 4, Itanagar Municipal Corporation, as the Special Guest. The dignitaries, in their addresses, highlighted the noble role of nurses, the values of selfless service, and the importance of professionalism and empathy in healthcare.
