Four new dialysis machines were inaugurated at the Dialysis Department of Ramakrishna Mission Hospital Itanagar on 17 March 2026. The machines were provided under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of The New India Assurance Company Limited, Mumbai, significantly strengthening the hospital’s dialysis services.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Smt. Nyamen Jini, representative of the company. Also present on the occasion wasDr P. D. Thongchi, Deputy Director-cum-State TB Officer, along with monastic members, doctors, nurses, and staff of the hospital.
Speakers on the occasion highlighted that the addition of these dialysis machines will enhance treatment capacity and benefit patients from Itanagar and other parts of Arunachal Pradesh who require regular dialysis care. The hospital authorities expressed their sincere gratitude to The New India Assurance Company Limited for their generous support in strengthening healthcare facilities in the region.
